Reports To: Manager of Industrial Engineering



  • Responsible for the planning, design and implementation processes and procedures required for new models or minor model changes.
  • Determine cost, layout, process design, manpower, equipment, and capacity of new model or minor model changes.
  • Determine manpower requirements for new projects.
  • Initiate and support VA items.
  • Verify part drawings for any model changes.
  • Perform cycle time analysis.
  • Perform root cause analysis.
  • Advise internal company management and related departmental staff of the project status.
  • Identify potential or existing problems, perform analysis and provide counter measures.
  • Oversee data collection and interpretation to coordinate improvement efforts.
  • Evaluate the results of customer / internal corrective responses as to acceptability of corrective action and potential for improvement.
  • Follow established work practices that support compliance with all company policies, safety standards, 5S practices, regulatory and/or customer requirements.
  • **Senior Industrial Engineer: Mentors new industrial engineers in the engineering department in company procedures, engineering principles, and work practices.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and 1-3 years of work experience.


Associate's Degree in related discipline and 3-5 years of experience


H.S. Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience.



  • Experience working with Windows operating system as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, preferred.
  • Above average mathematical skills, written skills, and verbal skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
  • Capable of overall professionalism in a business environment
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time with limited prior notice.
  • Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required to support department/company scheduled targets / objectives in a quality/timing manner.
