  1. Reports to: Production Control General Manager


    • Direct daily activity of the Shipping and/or Receiving departments.
    • Oversee selection and training of warehouse and supervisory personnel.
    • Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
    • Prepare and implement targets and goals for the department.
    • Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
    • Coordinate with other departments on inventory levels and to coordinate warehouse activities.
    • Seek better ways of operation to maximize output.
    • Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.
    • Issue shipping instructions to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.
    • Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
    • Oversee physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
    • Conduct 5's and safety audits and respond to same.
    • Participate in ongoing performance management including but not limited to evaluations, recommendations of wage increases and necessary corrective action.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, 5S practices, regulatory and/or customer requirements.



    • High School Degree, GED required. Some college or technical school, preferred.


    • 3-5 years of experience in warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.


    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Good mathematical skills.
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Experience working with Windows operating system as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Understand and able to implement Lean processes
    • Experience with Internal logistics and inventory accuracy


    • Capable of working any assigned shift.

    Work Environment:

    This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment. The performance of this position will also work in the manufacturing areas, which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.

    Physical Demands:

    The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee may also be required to work in hot temperatures.
