The CORPORATE SYSTEM AUDITOR ensures that throughout the company each plant has established, implemented and maintained the appropriate Quality and Environmental Systems in accordance with any applicable technical standards such as ISO 9001, TS 16949, VDA, CCC, ISO 14001 and any Customer Specific Requirement or specification.  This is accomplished by audits performed by this person.


  • Resource for all plants in any certification situations or Customer Requirements situations
  • Performs audits of plant systems to insure corporate issues are addressed
  • Evaluates the performance of the internal processes against the written M-Tek Procedures
  • Composes written reports to record the findings of the audits performed at each plant.
  • Advise and assist the plant upper management with any concerns about their quality and environmental system
  • Works in conjunction with Corporate ISO Systems Manager to evaluate all procedural systems to prevent any deficiency within the systems
  • Assumes any role necessary if required to assist with internal audit, but can become the Lead Auditor if necessary
  • Initiates corrective actions as necessary and follows progress through completion


  • College Degree preferred or in lieu of a degree, extensive job specific experience


  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in Manufacturing Quality specifically in the auditing of Internal ISO/TS systems.


  • Able to operate computer efficiently with Windows, spreadsheet, presentation and word processor programs

Training specific to placement in position

  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor Course (passing exam or working toward completion of training or testing)


  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication/people skills
  • Capable of working any assigned shift
  • Must be able to travel with limited notice for extended periods
