REPORTS TO: Supervisor


Performs routine administrative duties including computer operation, word processing/typing, maintaining schedules, filing, charts and graph preparations, creation documentation and perform other activities requiring communication and coordination with other departments.


  • Operates office equipment , computers, telephone, printers, copiers and all departmental machines
  • Complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments
  • Interact with external suppliers, and internal customers
  • Compile copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions
  • Type, format and proofread, edit correspondence and other documents, from notes, voice recorders or verbal interactions
  • Maintains department various databases (EOQ, ROP, MAPICS, INFOR) , files, listing and records, charts and graphs
  • Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to access completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications of the department
  • Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors
  • Record data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet departmental and production needs
  • Prepare documents, work orders, purchase orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route materials
  • Examine any shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify for accuracy
  • Report any problem with shipments received from vendors
  • Pack, seal, label or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping and or mailing using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
  • Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders
  • Prepare and complete all departmental  month end reports
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, 5S practices
  • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedure
  • Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer.


  • High School Education or GED

Experience: N/A


  • Ability to work independently in absence of supervision
  • Ability to operate computer related software (Microsoft Office 365) and office machines


  • Ability to work any shift
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends with limited notice

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:  The employee is occasionally required to sit; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.  The employee frequently is required to stand or walk for periods of time; use hands to handle feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must frequently lift and/ or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 40 pounds.  The employee will  also be required to work in hot temperatures.

Environmental Conditions:  This job operates primarily in a manufacturing environment, where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.  The noise level in the work environment can be loud.  The noise level is within OSHA standards.
