Reports To:  Manager/ GM of Sales & Marketing


Description:  Manage the company's commercial business in an effective and professional manner.  Coordinate various marketing and sales activities; including sales promotions, customer inquiries, quotation development, pricing negotiations, and secure payment collections.


  • Maintain contacts and coordinate customer information within the company along with facilitating and resolving problems between the customer and various internal departments
  • Maintain accurate data to determine competitiveness and profitability in order to establish pricing and develop quotations
  • Provide annual sales forecast and history reports for management review as required
  • Regularly keep various departments informed of material/tooling reimbursements, agreed assembly time, labor cost, and packaging/freight allowances enabling these departments to review, track, or correct if required
  • Interface with various departments including product engineering, purchasing, engineering, packaging, etc., to ascertain design change information, material cost, assembly time/labor cost, tooling costs and packaging and freight costs
  • Coordinate activities for various tradeshows, demonstrations, etc
  • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures
  • Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer


  • High School Diploma or BA/BS degree with emphasis in marketing and sales; college preferred

Experience  Required:

  • Minimum of two years related experience may be substituted for college education
  • Ability to use MS Excel software

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.


Physical Demands:

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may also be required to work in hot temperatures.
